Today's embroidered thank you card features the Spellbinders Stitched Thanks April 2021 Small Die of the Month. This card was a first for me. It was my first time stitching on a card and my first time creating a slimline card. I cut the embroidered template from 100 lb cardstock so it would be sturdy enough to handle the embroidery stitches. I followed the directions provided by Spellbinders to stitch the flowers and the leaves using a variety of pink, purple, and green embroidery floss. I used the die to cut the word "Thanks" from gold foil cardstock. I adhered the letters to the embroidered cardstock. I glued a panel of gold foil cardstock to a slimline card base. Using foam squares, I popped up the embroidered panel onto a panel of pink shimmer cardstock and then adhered this to a white cardstock panel. This was glued to the gold foil card base.
