My husband has been part of amateur radio for quite some time. He participates in several competitions each year. Many of these require him to stay overnight at another operator's house. He will occasionally send me pictures to update me on his progress. This page shows him at one of his competitions. Since he had a lot of red, white, and blue in the photo, I selected some older patriotic paper that I had in my stash to create the layout.
I wanted to have the background pieces of paper to be wavy to represent radio waves. For the embellishments, I cut out his radio call sign and a radio tower using my Cricut. I also fussy cut the pinwheels from the Pink Paislee paper. All items were inked with chipped sapphire distress oxide ink.
